Years ago i had a chess playing program called Hiarcs 10 i think it was, it had a training feature where you would click on every piece that could deliver check, another that you had to click on every unprotected piece or pawn, and a third that you had to click on every piece or pawn which could be captured, all of these you had to select the required units for both sides. If i remember correctly it was a timed session, and once all the pieces were clicked it would instantly switch to a different position and you had to do it all over again. I think the goal was to try to beat your own time, but my memory is a bit fuzzy.
I found that these exercises helped raise my tactical awareness after doing them over and over for a period of time. It would be nice if we had something like this here on Lichess.
