Is there a way to change to "Long algebraic notation" ?

Unfortunately there isn't an option for this. I'm not sure how "Qd1d4" is more useful than "Qd4" when a player has only 1 queen.
A while back I asked for descriptive notation as an option with no response. Best practice would be to stick with the most modern notation.
But if there is only one queen than it is obvious where it moved from - it moved from whatever square it moved to the previous time it moved. Also, why is where it moved from important?

I can’t see how this is helpful to people who haven’t learned the coordinates. It is equally necessary to know the coordinates with both methods.
@Chuck_Fess the reason I asked for descriptive was for helping to read old chess literature that used it. Not a big deal, just wanted to immerse myself to learn it faster.
I think it will help in 2 ways:

1. trying to visualize the board, and understanding the relationship between squares, example with Knights and Bishops:
Bf1c4 --> i will know that those 2 squares are on the same diagonal, and have the same color
Nf3e5 --> i will know that those 2 squares are of opposite colors, and they are 3x2 appart

2. sometimes, i like to try to not look at the board, and just wait for my opponent move while looking at the moves list, (sometime i even turn on blindfold mode temporarily), and try to visualize the new position after the most recent move.

for someone who is relatively new to chess, and can't visualize the chess board properly, it might be extremely helpful.
@ChesswurmOTB thanks for that link, it is very helpful for what i am trying to do.
to be realistic, my goal is only to be able to visualize few more moves ahead, and improving calculations.
right now, in lichess.org/training/coordinate , i get 15 in 30 seconds, that is 1 square per 2 seconds,

I wonder though if there is a reason why the Long algebraic notation shouldn't be added as an option ...
