opponent terms of service violation

I see a message that one of my opponents has 'Violated the Lichess terms of service'. What does that mean?

It says. " 'Violated the Lichess terms of service". If that doesn't explain it, I don't know what will.

i think u got rating refund so u played a guy who used engine so u got ur ratings u lost
