premove on a chosen move

so my idea is for example if the oponent moves d4 I will premove Nf6 and on e4 the premove will not work. you will click the premove but then you click your oponent's move to make your premove work only on the oponent's move that you click.

That pretty much defeats the entire purpose of a premove.

That only works in correspondence, anyway in a time crunch you probably wont even be able to click fast enough

No it doesn't. People already premove mostly on captures so the move will be illegal if the capture doesn't happen. It's the same principle except in any position. I don't think it would be really useful but it does make sense.
