A.I. "art" is not Art.

our language is an art, that i am thankful for its the reason we can communicate, communication is an art.
And computer programming is an art that takes skill, intricacy, and perfection just like regular art.
Therefore, in my opinion it is an art.

AI is not alive. Therefore, it cannot create art.

ayo, i strongly disagree on that one :

- ai cannot do the "same things" we do (if the topic is art), ai don't have the skills that artists have to convey emotions, because it doesn't have them. and they don't have storytelling skills neither.

- ai cannot do it better lmao : they cannot draw hands properly, most of the anatomy they produce is incorrect and most of their generations don't have a proper tridimensional logic.
every person who have touched a pencil in his life (or everyone who looks at the generations for a while) will notice that the "art" they do is mediocre.
and let's put the nail in the coffin : an AI cannot generate art styles, but every person who is skilled enough will have an art style, and most of the time this process in unvoluntary.

99% of "artists" just work on small commissions, either as a hobby or a job, most of them have no creativity.

I could go to an "artist" and offer them $50 to draw a medieval castle, which would take them weeks to finish, or i could go online, type some text and have ai generate the same thing but instantly and for free.
