Berserking not allowed in U2000 Arenas

I started playing in this arena lichess.org/tournament/wizF43zn, only to find that berserking isn't allowed!

Why is this???? My first game was versus a 1300, and if i could've berserked not only would the game have been quicker, but I also would've gained an extra point for the win.... This is stupid and should be revised.
I know I was joking. The fact that I said "maltreatment" shows that.
There are some players like @chrollolucifer at post have an oversized ego. it's actually Trump sized ego! They mistakenly believe they can berserk other players and win. Unfortunately, they lose most of the time. They lose so often that rating system is heavily damaged. Their berserk performance rating is significantly lower than non berserk performance rating. The Uxxx arenas are a failing attempt by lichess to sort players and make them play opponents of similar strength. Some lichess developers mistakenly believe that disabling berserking would somehow make a very unsound idea work. There is no chance the idea of Uxxxx arenas to work. The only solution would be discontinuing all Uxxx arenas as soon as possible!
@hangrad did you have to go on and insult his ego when berserking is to TEST yourself with your speed? The U2000 are not a "failing attempt by lichess to sort players". In fact, it just does the opposite.

For my own r e l e v a n t thoughts, I think we should have both non-berserk and berserk U2000/U1700/U1500 tournaments.

Also, like Minnesotablizzard (#7) said, you could just create your own tourneys.
Elimination of all U2000/U1700/U1500 tournaments would resolve the problem of players intentionally lowering their ratings to be able to play in these tournaments. The elimination of berserk option is not effective in solving this problem. Berserk is a challenge indeed. I berserked and beat many beginners in Atomic arenas. This is a highly explosive variant and mistakes lead to much faster losses compared to standard. This variant does not have any U2000/U1700/U1500 tournaments. I hope it stays this way!
