old design is better the new
Ever since the new version was released I've heard this terrible whining noise.
@Doofenshmirtz that's what they call Tinnitus. unfortunately there is no reliable cure for it :)
Yes, I also cannot make the board larger as in the old version. i always liked in lichess the large size options under board geometry!
New version is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better; it's cleaner, more responsive and makes better use of screen real estate.
It will take some time for people to get used to the new design, it always does with these types of things.

New design is terrible. Board way too big . Dont think its a good idea
I drag and make the board lagest possible, go to 100% screen geometry and it's still quite a bit smaller than the old version. Very similar to chess.com now, tha's one reason I'm not using their setup any more...Thank you!

Yes, I hate this new design because as if the too-small boards weren't bad enough, the boards are too large.
