How long does an appeal take

Hi,

My account was flagged today as violating terms.

I have appealed and I believe my appeal should be successful. My question is what is the normal turn around time for an appeal?

I POST THE BACKGROUND TO THE BAN NOT AS IN INVITATION TO AN ARGUMENT BUT AS AN ILLUSTRATION WHY I BELIEVE THE APPEAL WILL BE SUCCESSFUL :

What happened was that I was doing coaching with a student. We had a study and then I would challenge him to a CASUAL game where we would go through the lines of the study. We would constantly ad time to each other and give take backs in order to go through all the line.

I had the study open on another tab as well as the engine. It was to double check when he went out of " book" to make sure that I gave him the correct refutation of the lines.

We played 5 games like this (aborting 2 so that we get the correct colors). One or two of these games were stopped because it said "cheat detected" but we did not pay much attention to it because we knew that we were not cheating but practicing.

After the coaching session we found that my account had been banned.
Afaik an appeal takes usually less than 48 hours. You should be aware that your case violates the TOS even if both parties agree. The point is, it takes quite some time for mods to verify, "cheating" was fine for both parties and there are other options to achieve your goal, like playing in a study.
First occurrence of cheat detection won't get you banned, multiple will. You could have wondered what was going on at the first occurrence already. Good luck with the appeal

I was unaware it is in violation of the TOS. Please point me in the right direction.
Thx for your time
