Auto loss after disconnect

I just had a classical game and got disconnected for I think less than 2 minutes and when I came back I auto lose.
This is exactely why I left chess.com and now lichess is starting to do the same thing??!!
@homerunner It's just that lichess doesn't know that either your ragequitting or just disconnected. They don't want your opp. to be waiting for long. I think the max waiting time is 70 seconds
70 seconds only for a 30+20 min game? thanks for the answer, but I think this is horrible for those with a bad connection.
I hope lichess will change this....
I think that for a long game 2-3 minutes might work better than 70 seconds, maybe even going up to 5 mins or so for a 45+ minute (total) game, or even 8+ minutes for a 90+ minute game.

The more serious non-disconnecting players playing these longer time controls would probably want to think through and play out most positions (they can still wait, but the prompt is a subconscious temptation to claim a free win), and the temporarily disconnecting player almost always will want to get back into the game.

Off topic, is anyone else getting a blank lobby recently? Probably something on my end (having issues with this site, but no others), but if there is a wider issue involving a setting or something that lichess can change to make this less likely that would be nice.
