IDIOCRACY: movie or documentary?

I can't help but notice the sharp decline in logical intelligence in relation to the population at large. And even worse than the former is the steep incline in ignorance, selfishness, stupidity, division and idiocracy(no pun intended) among other fantastical negatives. So the movie Idiocracy, has it gone from being a movie into becoming a documentary so to speak? Opinions???

I think that opinion itself is fairly ignorant. In fact, the world as a whole (and more specifically the US as I assume that is what you're referring to) is more educated than it was at any other point in history.

The other attributes are rather subjective but I do agree that the US has become (politically speaking) very polarized. I don't particularly like our current president, nor his political decisions, but I also think that just because you disagree with a political position does not mean you can discount the other sides arguments or policies (excluding illegal acts which... you get where I'm going here....)

I think overgeneralization is a slippery slope that you're currently walking on.

It's abhorrent that you immediately turned this political. Evidently it's the new litmus test for the united front of division. Your statement that America is more educated than at any point in history is FALSE, on it's face. If you replace the word "educated" with "indoctrinated" then you'd have a statement worthy of the title of Honest & True. Our ancestors on average were far more literate than the folks of today, and critical thinking of the truly subjective kind is almost a thing from the past... America is at it's most decadent, apathetic, nihilistic and narcissistic point in it's history. The average American is a propagandized shill with no Honor and full of immorality and delusional outlooks.
