Lost game by timeout but on my end it showed my opponent ran out the time

I was playing a Rapid Arena and in one my matches I played a move and it was my opponent's turn. On my end, it showed that my opponent left the game and ran out the time but after it was over, it turned out my opponent had moved but the move did not register and I ended up losing on time even though I never saw the move being made.

your internet will be not proper then only it will show like that youc ant find any soloutin for this problem

Same here opponent was counting down, I realised something was worng, messages did not go through. He timed out and then game awarded to him as I apparently had timed out!

It has happened with me as well. And the reason is poor Internet connection. But now it doesn't happen for which I am glad.

@DrZwischenzug Dang I even saw a notification that lichess was going to restart but I’d never seen it before so I didn’t do anything. Thanks for the tip though, next time I’ll know to refresh

@wan111one happens with me too. It may be an internet problem sometimes, but if it isn't, and the next move isobvious and the opponent hasn't played it, reload the page to see if its an internet problem at your end. 90% of the time, it works.
