Settings: How Can I Castle by Moving Two Squares and Rook Drop

I can only select one. I can't select both, or deselect either. Thanks

"Castle by moving the king by two squares, or onto the rook" - You can choose one of these but not both. If you want both you would have to ask the developers to change their software.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting the response, but if the rook is where the king would land, then castling would not be an option. Or does lichess have a thing where moving the king onto the rook (i.e moving 3 or 4 spaces (queen side)), is a shortcut to indicating castling?

That's what it looks like to me. Put the king on top of the rook to castle. I prefer moving the king 2 squares.
