Pause game, swap pieces and resume game feature request.

I would like to see the developers allow players to pause games to allow them to manually swap chess piece positions. For example, instead of programming new chess variants...this would make it possible to have players play chess variants without officially recognizing them. For example, using this feature...players could pause chess games long enough to swap ANY two pieces on the chessboard and then hit “resume game” and allow them to play the games in normal fashion from that point on. If this feature could be implemented it would be possible for example to “swap” the king with ANY other piece on the chessboard for a simplified castling privilege. It would get around Thibault’s “no new variants” requirement and still let chess players have the flexibility to play more variants unofficially. So how about it?

Then how about allowing this when you play against Stockfish, for example then?
