Cannot understand the result

This happend the second time to me. It's not about being sad, I just want to understand.

-> HIS time run out, while I still had 20 seconds. But why the Game resulted in a Draw 1/2 and 1/2 ?

At least this time I don't deserve it, but I should have won it, right?

If you don't have material. It's a draw if your opponent time runs out.

What @nikzal said... It is basic chess knowledge. The argument is that you had no pieces that could possibly mate your opponent. If you had a pawn, it had the potential to be promoted and therefore, you would have won. Similarly, if you had a bishop or knight only, you would not have won as those pieces alone are useless.

This is because no matter what happens you don't have sufficient material to checkmate your opponent. The rule is if the 'winning' player runs out of time under these circumstances the game will be drawn

thank you. However, one Knight left could have won against his King and Pawn. Not against King alone.
