I am sure that many newly created clubs are in dire need of as many players as possible to learn about them.

I have not and will not be 2000-3000 members only because club nobody knows. It's unfair.
I consider it indecent to write information about my club in the chats of the upcoming tournaments and I do not see any other ways. So I have a proposal which will be interesting for new (and can be for all) clubs which will wish state about itself. And for the website of Lichess as it is sure to attract new sponsors in the face of the CLUBS .
PROPOSAL.
I suggest Lichess accept donations not only from specific players but also from clubs. As an incentive for such clubs, Lichess could put them at the top of the club list for a while. I am sure it will be a good example for everyone.
How to implement it in practice, I don't know but I am sure that a way can be found if only the administration will have a desire to help new clubs in their development.
