Humans were built to struggle and survive. So I don't find it a big deal.
People have said before that it's the end of time about a thousand times before. So why should I believe it will happen now.
Because now, we've gone too advanced to come back to our real nature. The one that bonded us with all other life. We are set for extinction soon if we go any farther in our advancements. Time has only no idea when the "when" will be for that question. But it may only be soon, maybe tomorrow, maybe today, maybe next year, maybe 2100, maybe 2050, maybe 2500, maybe infinite years from now. Only time can tell when the "when" will be. We just must hope it will not be from our own hands.

What if they gave an apocalypse and no one came?
No, the world doesn't end with a nuclear war, just some billions. And the earth will be polluted with radioactivity for over 500 years.
