I received this message from Lichess:
“Accusing other players of using computer assistance or otherwise cheating is not acceptable on Lichess. If you are confident that [...]”
Apparently someone reported me of accusing them of cheating. I’ve been using Lichess for years now, and I never accused anybody of cheating, not even when they were actually acting suspiciously.
Sometimes, when playing against opponents with a violations mark, I ask them what they got it for. That’s the only thing I can imagine being related to the message I received.
Similar to this, after telling an opponent that his game and chat behaviour is rude and unsportsmanlike, I received this:
“Lichess is intended to be a pleasant environment for everyone. Offensive language - which includes swearing, abuse, and harassment - is forbidden. [...]”
Does Lichess actually read the chat before sending out theses messages?
