Would I have supported my team more effectively by not participating in the team battle?

I couldn't help but notice that given my low rating, it might have helped my team more had I refrained from taking part in the streamer team battle.

Indeed, I could have been the one against whom all the other team's top players score some points, since they don't get to play the strong players of my team, but me instead.

Could we change the rules in such a way that the contribution of a player is positive, provided they play reasonably well?

Note that only the 20 best scores count for the final result.

The point after "+" seems to be remotely valid, but in the current setting, no team has such an overweight of players that this situation occurs, unless you are talking about them playing against the same opponent, thus increasing their chances of victory, in which case this is precisely my point.

Of course, the number of players should positively impact the team score.

You can’t really do anything about this. You can set the leaders per team to a very high number so that all the scores count, but that would be at the cost of giving every team an equal chance (as some teams would have a numerical superiority), and you would have to convince whoever is holding the tournament to do that, which I don’t see happening...
Let's get one thing straight: In order for everyone to be able to make a contribution, a superior number of players must necessarily give the respective team an advantage. Therefore, this is what I'm asking for.

So you want to force everyone to make their team tournaments with unlimited leaders? That’s ridiculous. The team battle system works fine the way it is.
