Its' a waste of time, typing such a long message.

I usually just decline it saying "I'm not interested in joining any team right now", although I have raged and been slightly harsh (mildly, not TOS violating) a few times in the past when they crossed the line and started spamming my inbox.

@ZwischenzugX11 that is a better way. But just trolling them is a much funnier way to deal with them. It is annoying and against the rules.

I'm not your boss, and it's your decision, but if you want to help lichess, then you should show PM-advertisers the terms-of-service #8 which forbids junk mails.

If I'm not in a good mood and in a stricter mood, then I'll link the ToS and explain what they did wrong. Sometimes they say sorry and they claim they didn't know, then that's where it ends. If they continue I block.

And what would you know about the ToS?

When someone is being attacked, you add on abuse, such as "paranoid schizophrenic" or other such slurs. In other words you engage in the lowest form of abuse: lowest common demoniator, lowest willed, mindless abuse.

In other words you break not the not just the "ToS" but also all forms of decency in human interaction.

The best is not to say anything and just ignore. Also, one can simply block them.
