Lost because of enemies bad internet connection

I already lost two games because my opponent had such a bad internet connection that i didnt see if it was my turn in many situations.
That shouldnt be possible. Why does the program punish me for playing against an opponent with bad ping?

If you're complaining about players leaving games and then rejoining while you are unaware is entirely your fault.

It may be that you have connection on your part. When your opponent makes a move, there will be times where you don't receive the move due to connection. I've experienced it before.
