Why do you play chess?
i’ve known about chess for a while but my dad introduced me to lichess and thus reintroduced chess to my life again and i just kind of flowed with it all the way to now
For fun.
I have no clue. I have very much a love/hate relationship with chess. It annoys me and wastes my time, but I keep coming back.
It keeps me from staring into the abyss of nothingness.
I’ve no idea because after some really shite games yet again this weekend I f*****g hate the game.
Within an ace of closing my account again. I’m sure some here wish I would so I probably won’t just to annoy them.

Up to this point I was not aware that I was playing chess.
I feel like to play you also have to improve... and I don't want to change anything for the better!

I play Chess so people don't mistake me for simply being a recluse , but more a Chess playing recluse, adds to the mystery, they'll ask themselves "how did he become this way?, why wont he answer his phone?, wheres his life going?" etc. :). lol
