Some people do it for spam or for fun... but others do it for good reason, so you can't blame all.
I have 2 teams, but mainly I have one team for creating tourneys though #1 is right, so much teams are bad.
no, soo many teams from 1 person (take ex of @unitychessclub ) he created soo many teams! for just 1 tournament! the players are also irritated by that, and he needs to do that (at that time) because he creates big prize pool and if in 1 team he creates 2 mega events then the same players wont pay and play!
Lichess must close teams which r not active like fidecheckmate they r not active and lichess must also ensure one thing that 1 person can create only one team if the team gets closed they can create another I think this can help
