I played in a tournament this morning, and the tournament started with 44 players, but end with over 200 (206 to be more precise) players registered for that tournament. I saw many of these new players resigns from the tournament after 2 or three matchs, other players that had very low ratings, so, I thought to myself if these players were actually giving the victory to some that don't deserve the top ten. Could've it biased many players ratings?
