As far as I know points are regulated after you finish 2 games. On you next game.

You can't mate him. So it's draw. Look at the chess rules. It's really correct from lichess.

And you lose point bescause you get a draw against a weaker player.
This comes up again and again. Don't think of it as points that you get for winning, the +-numbers just show the correction of the rating. He has played 4700 bullet games and has 1476 rating, this means his rating is mostly stable (within 63 points).

Now, you have been able to win 0 games against him, and draw 1 (probably a loss if he had more time). This means that your rating should be around his. If you want a higher rating than him, you need to prove that by beating opponents in that rating area or higher.

The "point" of the ratings is to give a guide of who will win, equal rating should indicate equal strength.
