Blocking another user - request / question

Hi,

When I block a user, I can still see his comments in the forums.

Would it be possible to 'block' / 'filter out' the comments of a specific user, so they do not show up in a forum thread when I read it?

If not, could you add this functionality ?

Love this site, thanks for your effort and intentions,

cheers, Chris
Will this not disrupt the flow of conversation. If you have many people who can't see each others posts then things will get repeated and not make much sense.

For example you respond to a question ,a blocked user also replies , another user responds to the post you can't see and you think he is referring to your original post. I don't think it would work very well.
I agree that it should be a feature. If you block a user, it should mean that their comments are suppressed.
Rather than hiding the messages completely, they could be collapsed by default with a message like "This comment is from a person you have blocked. Click here if you want to view it anyway."
The best solution is to employ someone as Dr. Phil to review any and all posts. Useless and irrelevant comments can be weeded out, (as this one), saving us wasted time in reading such. The Dr. could offer explanations of the more subtle, or scientific posts that go over our heads. A check box could be provided, if a viewer had further questions for the Dr., who for a small fee, would get back to you by email the following day!
