Message from Lichess re: takebacks

Hi,

I got the following message from Lichess on 23/06/21 and only saw it today

"23/6/2021
We noticed a pattern of aggressively asking for takebacks in your communication. This is a reminder that nobody is obligated to grant you a takeback. By asking for a takeback you are solely relying on your opponent's courtesy, so them rejecting your request is not bad sportsmanship. On the other hand, it IS inappropriate on your part to criticize them for it. Please keep this in mind in the future."

I am very confused by this as I have never asked for a takeback since I have been a member of Lichess. In fact I have that option turned off in my settings. I have also never been aggressive or criticised anyone as the message states. Can you check this as I assume it must be some sort of mistake?

Regards

Once you click the link, select the option "I want to discuss a warning I received" and write your views.
Once I mouslip and then send takeback AND confirm it was mouseslip, but he/she didn't accept, what to do then?
@Akarsh_2010 It's important to remember that takebacks are a courtesy; nobody has to accept them. Many players have takebacks turned off anyway.

So it's best to look at it this way: if you ask for a takeback and your opponent accepts it, you should be grateful. If your opponent doesn't accept it, well, that's chess!
