Let me explain you (and anyone else not very well familiar with current situation in Russia). Mark Gluhovsky is (or was) something like executive director of Russian chess federation. Also apparently he is Jewish (or at least looks Jewish to anti-Semitic organizers of the tournament). And he took anti-war (or at least not a pro-war) position, same as Dvorkovich and some other more sane people in Russian chess federation. People like Karjakin are trying their best to kick them out. And here comes the old anti-Semitic tradition in Russia: if you disagree with someone politically and that person is a Jew you tell him/her: go to Israel. It does not matter if that person feels himself Russian, speaks native Russian, has many generation of his ancestors born in Russia, loves Russia. Just to give you an example, how would you feel about some republican saying: Chuck Schumer, go to Israel ? Would you agree with this being anti-Semitic? And that is exactly what organizers of this tournament are doing.
