What age did you started playing chess

When i was already three (note that i said ”already”, because it is quite a lot as i was banging out getting smothered mated).
i can't quite precisely remember but it surely was when i was around 7,

back then, i did not understand a single concept about chess, including what the goal was to win. my first games were against a computer that i now know was at a below 1000 rating, and i've lost against it many times due to my inability to comprehend what the game was all about

however, i did win eventually, once after 5 tries or so, and was completely baffled when i did when i saw the word checkmate pop out of nowhere on the screen once i moved the horse to attack some piece

i was even more baffled when i learned that it meant i won the game, 'cause i absolutely had no idea how i won

lol, good times
When John Henry was a little baby boy,
Sitting on his daddy's knee,
He picked up a chessboard and sixteen pawns
And said, 'Chess'll be the death of me, Lord, Lord,'
Chess'll be the death of me.'

(Real song, chess song)
I STARTED PLAYING CHESS AT AGE 7 AND ALSO I LEARNED CHESS BY MY GRANDFATHER.
