New user interface

The new user interface doesn't usable for me. How can I get back the old one?

Simply you can't

Such a pathetic interface. Why do people have to break something which is already good.

I agree the old interface worked well for me. I'm now using chess.com, which has its own issues but their interface is more usable than Lichess v2's interface.

You simply need to adjust to it.If something does not work,then let lichess staff know and they will fix bugs.

I love how that first guy has been here 4 years and has played on average once per year but now - having played their first game for a year and a half - it's just ruined.

I understand the "it not broke, don't fix" mindset. However supporting old browsers is both time consuming and only effects a shrinking userbase.

Unless you can give specific reasons why it's bad and the version of web browser you are using there isn't anything the developers can do.

I don't agree with #3. I really like the new site and I love having 1:1 features on mobile.

My guess is that being new v2 is less polished and a little more buggy - as well as just plain different to - than the tried and tested v1, so if you're not aware of/never use the new functionality you'll only notice an overall decrease in quality, even if most people are probably not in that position.
