Hello all team-mates of 90m30s Club.
Kurt Rohrer ( @Kurt_rohrer56 ) the founder of Todo Mundo Club ( lichess.org/team/todo-mundo ) and me/fhunfi ( @fhunfi ) the founder of 90m+30s Club ( lichess.org/team/90m30s ) will organize the special event: GRAND SWISS CLASSIC 2023. We both will be Co_Tournament_Director of this event.
We have contacted all Captains from several Club that run Classical Time Control tourney. All Captains will invite their members for this GRAND SWISS CLASSIC 2023.
The event will start on April 1st, 2023.
Time control will be 60m+30s.
Swiss System Format. Number of Rounds depend on number of participants.
1 round will be played within 2 weeks time span, and date/time to play is as usual by negotiation.
This is Individual Event (not Team Event), we will try our best to avoid the pairing between 2 players from same Team,
but the player represents his Team with a team Spirit, so it’s an individual 60m+30s with a team spirit!
So far the participants of such tournaments could only play against members of the organizing club.
Here it’s exactly the opposite.
Participants carry the name of their team and are not paired with players of the same club.
Let’s see which player of which team is the great champion and how many members can your club place in the top ten!
We’re sure that it will be a very strong, exciting tournament.
The participants will have a lot of fun.
They can always pause if they are unavailable or don’t want to play in a specific round.
No captain of the team is needed this time.
