Firefox extension to hide ratings

Since this comes up from time to time in the forum I hope it's OK to advertise here :-)

I've often felt that I don't play well when the opponent's rating is much lower or higher than mine: I'm either too careless or too defensive. So I wrote a Firefox extension to hide ratings:

addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/lichess-hide-elo/

This is different from Zen mode: It just hides the ratings, and it also works in the seek list. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. And if someone would port it to Chrome that would be great.
This is a great little plugin, and exactly what I was looking for. Great works, and thanks for making it.

One thing, though, and I dunno if it's expected behavior, but on FireFox 60esr, I had to restart the browser to get the plugin to start working. Other than that, it seems to be working great.
Another thing you could use if you have chrome for example is to get the ublock origin extension which is great for ads anyway, and use the element picker on that to block only the little rating elements - and if you do want to see rating you can always scroll over the name still to bring it up
@mediocreplay I don't think uBlock would work. The filter language seems (naturally) to be targeted at filtering by origin, and has some basic style matchers. That might be good enough for the places where Lichess tags ratings somehow, and separates them e.g. from the player name. But it doesn't do that in the seek list or in the ingame left sidebox. The ratings are just regular TDs, or appended to the player name within one and the same anchor tag.

@reclusivewriter I'll look into the first run experience, so far I haven't been able to reproduce it. What OS are you using? Could there be other extensions/OS software blocking installation?
