I'd love a way to disable rematch requests.

I never accept them so the little notification ends up being a nuisance, and it can be stressful when a user just repeatedly requests a rematch after I decline. It'd be nice to be able to disable it altogether.

You can disable all match results from the settings on your profile. Click Never on Let others challenge you. lichess.org/account/preferences/privacy

I thought that might work too, but it doesn't. Rematches appear to be different than challenges from Lichess's point of view.

Oh yes, forgot about that. :) Just click analysis board or close the window as soon as the game is over then.

Just do nothing if somebody requests. Why should it be disabled? You are not forced to take action, not even to deny ...

Is this just going to turn into tons of people telling me all the ways I can ignore a rematch request?

I’ve never thought of just not accepting or leaving the game 🤔, what a concept /s.

Obviously this isn’t a necessary feature. Obviously I can ignore it or leave the game. It’s basically just aesthetics: as useful as dark mode/light mode.

I’d find it nice, that’s all.
