correspondence chess tournament

I'd actually really like to see this implemented, especially in the form of a team vs team format.

Your accusations are total BS.
My extensive experience of playing correspondence chess over the years tells me just the opposite of your inflammatory and incendiary remarks.
Do explain your "leaderboard" comment with actual evidence.
Do explain that correspondence players are more likely to cheat, with actual statistics and evidence.

Fact.
More of my opponents here have been tagged in live chess games than daily games by a large margin. Played equal amount of games.
Cheating is an issue no doubt, but it's existence is an extremely low percentage at any time control. Your shouting "can't trust people" is very pathetic indeed.

To give as a reason not to have correspondence events is because of "cheaters" couldn't be more ignorant.
Of late, there has been a half dozen threads by members calling for more traditional formatted tournaments. Arena style is not for everybody. Correspondence events are non-existent.
I have no doubt correspondence events would be very popular. It's a "project" for someone to write, not a priority for any developer at the moment.

@The_Laminator

Here you go again with your hysterical claims...
"Cheating is a massive problem, you can't find any non-cheater to play in correspondence."

Your link to reasons the leaderboard was eliminated made no mention nor any reference to cheaters by staff.

Please... stop these senseless and unsubstantiated claims.
@The_Laminator

I just looked at your correspondence games.
14 wins ... 5 losses.
All losses to Stockfish8.

Your claims are proven to be rubbish. Can't find players who don't cheat in correspondence? All of your games are wins except for vs SF.

Where are these "cheaters" you claim to exist in your correspondence games?
You have 14 wins with 5 losses all to SF.
SF makes it "progressively harder" to find honest players?
You have an agenda to spread. Myself, it is not appreciated your baseless hysteria cheating is a massive problem. It is very small percentage. Your accusations can only cause discourse, instead of the education needed in dealing with the issue.
