I hate chess

It's not intended to be unkind or cruel in any way. I gave the answer. Study. But trust me, if you have had this conversation 20k times, then you know how it goes. They will never listen. Study means sacrifice, it means the opposite of sense-gratification. But the advantageousness of it is that you expand, and grow your understanding of the game. So therefore, you will win more, and experience a little more happiness from it. But the problem remains unsolved, the problem of being unsatisfied; it's an infinite sort of thing. So the true solution is just to be happy and unattached.

The pain comes from infliction from others and one person being unhappy can have a tendency to make others unhappy. But the opposite can happen as well, it's just an eternal thing. The unhappiest person in the world was Fischer; and nowadays, infinitely more so, Putin. He is so unhappy he is willing to kill thousand upon thousands. And so unimaginably stupid that he is willing to fight an absolutely unwinnable war, and then just try to spread "They're Nazis" which is, just like the rest, unimaginably stupid and cancerous of a mind-virus.

It takes a lot of love to withstand that and it's just the coming to head of many destructive forces.

But back to the basic problem? Yeah, the only way to do it is to de-tach, to unplug, to relax; to understand that the "infinite unhappiness" is the problem itself. The "I've got to beat others" and the idea that ego should be satisfied, rather than given love, is the basic problem. And the same thing that Putin does goes on in a lower thing. Those who are unhappy will attack others and it's exactly the same. So do you want to be happier and not unhappy?

Then simply grow as a human being. Feed your soul with love. Fill your with light, happiness, goodness, beauty and joy. Fill it with art. and wonder, and good health and perfect health -- have faith in your health, perfect faith in yourself and believe in your happiness.

Live and be happy be free from worry and do not feel sad when a win or lose happiness .This is because you are already fulfilled. The fact is you are already what you want to be -- you already have peace. Right there -- in your heart; in infinite measure. Peace is boundless, and it is inevitable, and it is beautiful, and it is infinite.

Peace is quite literally and truly inevitable, infinite and indestructible. The lie and the liar will say the opposite and try to create endless unhappiness, endless warfare. endless ugliness and destruction in the universe.

This is simply and the most simple thing. Three things come to mind- you know- that do this, that spread this unhappiness. Ego, Putin and those who do the same. Do you want peace and happiness? Good! You should! They are infinitely valuable and beautiful.

Walt Whitman said, "Peace is always beautiful."

So find it -- it is infinitely better. But you have to make a progressive and rather intense search to really find your full potential, your best and absolute self.

I hope you try it. But as mentioned, most of the time it is ignored. In the end it whether I say, "You won't study," or "You will study" won't make a difference but in general; those whoa re in such a depth of intensest unhappiness and unpassion, will continue to do so until something strong enough to do so, pulls the out of it.

This can be a community of peaceful, strengthening and kind individuals, or it can be an individual experience of pain so deep that it shakes one out of it. But it is up to the person.

Who knows.

Their future, development and fate is in their own hands.
entertaining and funny chess videos helped me overcome the hate i had after stupidly losing every single winning position i had :)
I would hate to be a high-level chess player. At the top level it becomes a boring memorization game.

Very true!
But you can see players who played naturally and creative by themselves like Morphy, Lasker, Fischer, Tal, Petrosian. Only Morphy and Tal developed lifetime instinct of playing fearlessly at the top level without caring.
