Will they ever add any sort of "rapid" into quick game menu?

My suggestion is 10+3 instead of 10+0 which is not rapid. Another good aprroach would be to use same increment as base time 7+7 10+10 for etc

The most played time controls are put on the Quick game menu. You can always create a custom game.

There is only 1 control out of 8 longer than blitz. This one is ok but too long to play it often.

Blitz is considered garbage by those who have knowledge.
Plus there are users who like to play with no need to focus your sight on the screen . Play while listening book, getting asleep etc.

You can always create a game with a custom time control. I do not get why you want your time control on the Quick Game menu.
