Would you rather get away with lying every time or always be able to detect a lie?

Would you rather flip a coin for 1 million or accept 50000?
the first id go to the white house and say im the president
I'd choose to get away with lying every time then tell whoever is offering me this choice that I picked always being able to detect a lie.
Always get away with a lie. I would write 1 mln on a piece of paper and tell people it's a 1 mln dollar bill
Well, I think the question isn't clear. What do you mean by being able to "get away" with lying? Do you mean that just when you write 1 million on a piece of paper and tell people its a 1 million dollar bill, they would believe you, that's all? Because if you are using "get away" in that sense, you are leaving in the forces of conscience; that is, they would believe you, but you would still feel guilty for duping them. So, if you mean "get away" with lying in terms of tricking others but still feeling remorse yourself, then I would say it's an easy decision - choose to be able to detect lies. For I don't think anybody can live with the repeated guilt every time he tells a lie to another. But, if you mean "get away" in the sense that also your conscience doesn't punish you, then it's a different question altogether.
