We did all the "v2 sucks!!11!1! Why can't we have v1 back?" etc a few weeks ago. It was very boring. You missed that boat. v1 is never coming back. Next.

Maybe the problem is that you are not allowing cookies from the lichess domains (
lichess.org lichess1.org) or deleting cookies after each browser session ?

No, his problem is that the session cookie is where the board size is stored so it's forgotten whenever he logs out.
