The feature to claim afk in rapid and classical

As a rapid player, there have been many instances where my opponent has just left the game when losing, and even though they get warned, looking blankly at a screen for 7 minutes doing nothing is highly irritating

My suggestion is to add the feature to claim afk in rapid or classical, which:

1. Can only be claimed once a game

2. Can only be claimed in relation to their respective time set according to the time control

3. Opponent has to disprove the claim if said opponent is not afk but rather thinking or letting the time run out on purpose
When I'm AFK, that is letting the dogs in, how am I able to claim that I'm AFK?
you are not supposed to leave for a significant amount of time while playing with others
Lichess should prevent a player from starting a new game while another game is unfinished i.e. in progress.
Sorry @Thavma I don't understand:
Who can claim AFK? The one who wants to leave or the opponent?
How can I know whether my opponent is really AFK and not actually thinking?
How can I disprove a claim?
@sheckley666 o1 is playing, and o2 is afk

1. o1 can claim afk if he thinks o2 has just left trying to waste time

2. the opponent

3. there are instances when opponent takes a lot of time when losing and they go afk, that's why you can claim afk

4. you can disprove a claim by simply clicking on a check a presume
That doesn't help and produces new problems.

1. o1 has to wait only for a longer time, if o2 has still the game opened in his browser. In this case he could easily disprove o1's claim. (o2 reads a novel during this time and throws one view per minute on the screen)
2. o1 could raise the claim in a crucial situation with the intention to distract o2, when o2 really needs a longer think to find a good move.
I've never read a rule that I'm not supposed to be away for a significant amount of time. I've never read a rule that says that I have to play what I consider the best move. These are unsportsmanlike, but we haven't be able to enforce these morals.

Once again, If I'm away from the keyboard, how can I click a button that claims that I'm away from the keyboard? Maybe we could add a "I'm still thinking" button which must be clicked every 4 seconds--yeah that would improve my playing pleasure.
I agree this claim win/draw feature can be useful, but based on my experiences I think it's poorly implemented, although I don't know what the software actually checks.

Last case from blitz game a couple of minutes ago: my opponent made a move and the very next second i received claim message. Before that he played at a normal pace, we both spent equal time. How can software notice any important change that fast??

Second case: while playing blitz game at a normal pace on my phone i received a phonecall. I took the call and after a couple of seconds changed back to chess game to see what's going on only to see the message that I was afk and lost the game.

If lichess is checking what my other apps do on my phone, I do not agree with such checks. If it is not, then on what logic can lichess tell me how fast can i think or move?

This clain win/draw feature should be optional in settings and used only if both players have it turned on.

If i decide to play blitz game it means that i am taking into account the maximum time before it's over, so waiting those couple of minutes more shouldn't make a difference.

I understand it can be a pain in longer games, but how do you really know if someone really left a game for a stroll in the park or they are talking on the phone and still thinking of possible moves (you can play and talk at the same time) or if they are actually playing and just can't decide what to do?
I hit the claim victory button but nothing happened. I waited for rest of the 15 minutes, only to see that it was my turn and I couldn't make my move, because of which I lost the game.

I think it is a very serious software bug in Lichess. I don't know, but I am really pissed off at this moment as I lost a winning game.
