When solving (or respectively failing to solve) a puzzle on the mobile app, the rating doesn't get updated. The puzzles scroll but the rating points don't. I remember some time ago there was a problem with the puzzles not being synchronised between app and website: now they are but apparently the rating isn't still.
I agree. This is annoying.
If you clear the apps' data before playing on mobile does the problem go away?
No, it doesn't: I have just tried and the problem persists.

I did clear the cache and no, even if I didn't, I shouldn't need to do so for it to properly work :)
You're absolutely right, but if there's a bug in this area - and there is - and this was the workaround, then it would be odd not to apply it, yes?
Another workaround is to use the website.
I have the same problem with the app.
I've seen the same behavior. Sometimes to get the mobile app to record puzzle scores again after using the website, I have had to re-install the mobile app...today actually. :)
