Spring Marathon 2023 during Nepo - Ding World Championships

Marathon, one of the most popular tournaments, will be performed during Nepo - Ding World Championships. And A LOT players will now play, watching WC match broadcasts.

Also, winter marathon 2022 was the same way during rapid & blitz World Championships. You can check numbers:

Is this marathon schedule a chess.com diversion or sabotage?

I wouldn't be surprised if Putin and Xi Jinping called an extraordinary summit to postpone the World Championship to a later date.

who cares, what stops you from attacking in a fast-paced 24h arena? watching a Bedge classical game? I don't see a problem with playing the marathon and keeping track of Ding-Nepo at the same time.

I'm at a friend's birthday so I can't attack anyways (also I wasn't fond of the 2+0 time control. Hope summer 1+0 is at a good date this year)

I also love watching Nepo-Ding Worldchampionship while playing a marathon, this will bee amazing
