Group messages

@thibault and other lichess mods and to all lichess members:

I would like it if leaders of a group could have the possibility to create a team forum post to the whole group, so all members get a message. I was thinking everyone could have that option but maybe then there would be spam.

Does anyone agree with this suggestion let me know below! I currently have a growing group, and if I get to 100 players, writing out all their names in the forum will be painfully exhausting!

@ChEsSmAgEdDoN maybe write all the names out once and save it to a text document on desktop. Then every time you need to post to the group you just copy and paste the chunk of @(names) and viola! Every time you get a new member, add it to the text file. No need to ever do it more than once ...

@Episcopul thats a good idea but I don't see why we couldn't just make it a feature on lichess.org

@ChEsSmAgEdDoN its just a work around for you to use until they do what you are asking. Remember that lichess is a free site so they have other reported bugs/requests/features to work on that they are probably prioritizing to re code first. Doesn't mean you don't have a good idea, but maybe the rumor of clock issues in certain modes is something they would look at first before they shift efforts to adding another feature. Typically you want to tighten up code before adding more potentially buggy code. You could think of it as cleaning as you go so that there isn't a larger mess at the end.
