Warum "Schwizerdüütsch/Schweizerdeutsch" als default Sprache?

Same problem here.. Auch seit heute.

Sorry but how can you guys see the difference? Is there a different spelling of the words, or a different sentence structure?

Edit: I did not mean to be culturally insensitive, but after seeing the third forum topic about this, I am now curious

Entschuldigung, aber wie könnt ihr den Unterschied erkennen? Gibt es eine andere Schreibweise der Wörter oder eine andere Satzstruktur?

Edit: Ich wollte nicht kulturell unsensibel sein, aber nachdem ich das dritte Forumsthema zu diesem Thema gesehen habe, bin ich jetzt neugierig

I guess, that's the hole problem: Someone tried to change something in German (Switzerland), but instead overwrote German (Germany) with the new Switzerland version. So as a result the German (Germany) version that I like and use is missing, while there are two German (Switzerland) versions.

Fun fact though: I changed the language setting in the lichess app to English (because English is way better than my Switzerland German). This automatically changed the language setting in my browser to English, too. So in my browser I changed the language back to German (Germany) - which is still possible there! Well, and now my browser runs lichess in German (Germany), while my app (that obviously can't find the matching language I chose in my browser) runs in English.

Im Browser lässt sich bei mir noch immer nicht schweizerisches Deutsch einstellen...
Ansonsten, wie gesagt, nutze ich die App jetzt vorübergehend auf English, weil ich dieses schweizerische Deutsch beim besten Willen schlicht und einfach nicht anständig lesen kann. Oder anders gesagt: Für mich persönlich ist die App gerade vergleichbar mit einem Film, der nicht deutsch synchronisiert wurde. Auch da würde ich dann zumeist die englische Fassung des Films anschauen. (Das ist immernoch wesentlich einfacher als eine niederländische oder schweizerdeutsche Synchro oder Originalfassung zu schauen. - Und da spreche ich tatsächlich sogar aus Erfahrung! ^^)

Das mit dem Browser ist mir auch aufgefallen.
Im Prinzip ist es auch egal. Man kann es trotzdem spielen.
