time out versus insufficient material?

@cheapthought I mean, there are always people out there who will dislike you and your opinions. That’s just life. Was in a football/soccer game where a guy pushed me over when I had the ball and stepped on me and the gave me a look. I just took it in.
I just realized how this forum turned from a time out vs insufficient material into a people versus people forum. Really took a turn.
#52 I've been posting in the forum almost daily for the last six years. Digression is a common thing. The forum is great for talking chess, and as a form of entertainment. Something to do between games. For your entertainment read this post...We all went crazy for awhile! It gives a whole new meaning to the term "bad Bishop" :] lichess.org/forum/off-topic-discussion/famous-trolls#6 -- This next post was about Chess...and stayed on topic with no insults. Some of the most outspoken players on this site came together and created a very educational post. I can do the K- B&N checkmate now. :] lichess.org/forum/game-analysis/why-you-should-study-the-bn-checkmate#2
Sorry I didn't read the entire thread... I was just responding to the fact someone pulled me into the thread for some reason.

Carry on...

And FlamoToolz: you have better control than I do. :)
i mean i can understand @radicalnonsense opinion, its just not practical.

first of all it would take a huge effort to program such positions and not let people play out ridiculously won endgames when an opponent lost on time.
aditionally it would give people potential for a next level of grieving.

secondly u have to put it into rules which would end up too long to understand and would end up into a choas of confussion to implement.

i think lichess already is disobeying some of the the FIDE rules for the better, but u cant just go too far without creating too much confussion.
Looks like i have to add another comment.

@savagechess2k
>calling people who don't want to change the rules of a game "cowards" when the rule change has no point at all

I think you are wrong to say i called people that . I didn't.
please re-read it and acknowledge defeat.

>Hating on bullet chess since starting of this thread

I think you will find that what i actually wrote bullet chess contains rubbish moves. That is not hating it, that is simply being observant, moves are made in that format that would never be seen in longer time variants. That is not the same as hating it, i have played 2967 bullet games, often using radically nonsensical moves in order to win on time.

>Claiming people who don't want a rule change lack creativity

Yes, this site offers many variants, I am offering you another, turning your venom on me is therefore criticising my gift to the community.

>Calling chess rules illogical

Well, of course I think given time people will realise that my variant has benefits for a well-rounded player development and may extend the lifetime of ones intellect.

>You went too far to be taken seriously.
You are entitled of course to your opinion, but like an advancing pawn, you cannot take back your mistakes, you can simply live with them and apologise if and when you are ever ready, I will be waiting no matter how many lifetimes it takes for you to realise this. Until then, may you suffer from the wrath of the silent majority who have or will benefit from this thread.
