Would it make sense for rematches to only be declared by the loser of the match? It would help new users not lose a magnitude of rating and would keep offense off the loser if that player lost badly (or barely even). I know you can just decline but what do you guys think?
I don;t see why it should matter, if the loser doesn't want to rematch then just ignore or reject the offer.
I would better prefer contract option (contract for e.g. 6 games match)
I think the players should have to play another game to decide who gets to offer the rematch. And a third game to decide who gets White in that other game.
What if any of those games are a draw?
Then the players must play a game of backgammon to decide whether to play shogi or xiangqi, to decide upon who gets to offer the rematch.
Seems reasonable.
My son and I are playing a series of correspondence games--one white and one black. But when you request a rematch, it keeps flipping the color. It would be helpful to have color options on the rematch. Currently, I have to go back to the NEW GAME menu.
