I like 1/4 and all, I just think there should be another ultrabullet speed. I also think 0+1 should be ultrabullet.
0+1 has been removed due to farmers. Everybody else and elaborate.
2/3? Wouldn't that be 40 second chess, which is bullet not ub? My maths might just be poor...

1/3 is for ultrabullet, 2/3 needs to exist because of 1/3; it's similar to 1/4 and 3/4. 3/4 is underused.

How about 1/16 which is 7.5 seconds. But then you could zerk to make 3.75
Maybe a system where you can make a custom challenge, which will just appear in the lobby?
edit: as in you input the amount of time with a keyboard instead of a slider, which will give more options, then in the lobby settings people can choose whether they want to see "odd" time controls or not?? idk

this could potentially work if they allowed weirder time controls in bullet, blitz and rapid
UB would be ridiculous, e.g people could set up time controls like 1/50 + 0
Classical would be similar because people could set up timecontrols like 170+179 etc.
If this were to be added in the 'lobby settings' there should be a button that filters the timecontrol, either by quickpairing preset or allowing the user to input 'bad' timecontrols they don't want in their lobby page.
for clarification, according to lichess they define timecontrols as:
ub taking less than 30 seconds
bullet takes 30 seconds to less than three minutes to play
blitz is 3mins to 8 mins
rapid games typically take 8-25 minutes
classical is 25 minutes +
correspondence is one day or more.
