Maximum to the number of messages to send

Is there a maximum to the number of message I can send to people? Or a maximum of people I can message? I'm trying to manage a tournament and I need to interact alot, but it seems that my messages do not work anymore. I can only chat with people I've already talked to.

Yes, there are some limits to prevent spam. I think things that help is stuff like everyone being in a team, there being an existing conversation, using team message to PM all and also both players following each other. How many players are you trying to message?

Well, we have a tournament for Dutch players only and we have rating prizes. When people register for the tournament, most of them don't mention their name and rating. Therefore I have to contact all of the people individually. Yesterday, there were around 50 to 100 people who didn't include the required information.

Is there a way to upgrade the number of messages? :-)
Or do I have to wait?

There is not. If you have all your players registered in a team you can message them all at once via the "team message" button on the team page.

I understand, but the problem is that they are not part of the team when I ask them for information.

So it's inconvenient for me that there is a maximum to the amount of messages I can send to other users, since I can not obtain the information I need for the registration.
