Climate Change Question: How do you think climate change can be solved??

the US military *alone* emits more CO2 than most entire countries. the number you hear most often is more than 140 countries, but also here is an article on general us military pollution:
earth.org/us-military-pollution/

one quote of many:

"US military wars have had a devastating effect on the economies and population of the countries they intervene in. Perhaps one of the most recent cases to their detrimental environmental record is the intervention of Iraq. The Iraqi economy is suffering tremendously as they are now forced to import more than 80% of their food, due to the desertification of 90% of Iraqi territory. Furthermore, US policies are negligent and disregard the safety of their servicemen as well as the Iraqi population. Open-air burn pits used to dispose of waste in the 2003 invasion has caused those exposed to suffer from cancer, and the depleted uranium left over from the Gulf War still causes a big environmental burden. "

notably, they are also poisoning the water in hawaii right now.

so i think one of the most important ways to help the climate is to put a stop to the US military as quickly as possible. this means reducing funding to the military, not getting involved in various wars, not militarily antagonizing countries such as china, not having military presence in places like okinawa (ryukyu), and much more

I think we can solve climate change with more social media posts about climate change
Step 1: Get the trash out of the waters (not waters, toilet, but waters, multiple water, seas, oceans)
Step 2: Use renewable energies
Step 3: Stop paying everything for the government, wasting our money while we always can use step 2.
Sure, let’s blame the US military for it all. Wish it were just that simple.
Edit: how about we all just shut off our phones, iPads, computers, tvs, lights, comfort heating and cooling, cars and trucks, close all air travel, buses, and trains for just 24 hours?
