Pieces blurry in Chrome?!?!

I just can't brush off the impression that the pieces have gotten blurry maybe yesterday or today... I use Chrome up to date (Version 91.0.4472.77 64 bits) on Windows 10

Every time I see the pieces it strikes me that it's blurry, and I see them for hours every day, so I really think something has changed for the worse somehow. I know this has happened before (like a few years back maybe), also on Chrome... it had come up on the forums and it was soon fixed

@Patrizsche Yes I have chrome too and noticed the same. It happened before. I wish they fix it because it gives me a headache looking at the blurry pieces.

The pieces look exactly the same as they always have.

Why don't you all communicate with each other and see if you all have something in common that makes the pieces look strange?

For me on a windows 10 computer with no add-ons of any type installed, the pieces have URLs that start like this, so that might be the first place to look: "data:image/svg+xml;base64,PHN".

Some add-on that interferes with the way scalable vector graphics (that's the SVG in the URL) are drawn, might be a hint to the problem.

@StingerPuzzles I have chrome with no add-ons. It happened before and was a problem with Lichess, not with the navigator.

I noticed Chrome received an upgrade recently? I see some graphics have changed (like the loading circle thingy next to the webpage). Maybe this recent upgrade is what is causing the problem?
