How much do you know about breast cancer? friendly and open discussion

try answering a few of these questions to see how aware you are of such a deadly health issue. don't worry abut giving completely wrong answers, let this be an open and informative discussion

1) can males get breast cancer too?
2) approximately how many people around the world are diagnosed with breast cancer every year?
3) can you get breast cancer even if it doesn't run in your family?
4) what are few symptoms of breast cancer?
5) how frequently should you check for breast cancer?
1: yes c fight club
2: in the world, in my country etc etc.
3: of course, leaking breast inplantates, chemicals etc etc and maybe your family is the milkman.
4: no clue maybe the little lump.
5: depends on country i think. With mammography it is regular above a certain age. every few years i think.

Yeah growing up, I used to actively take part in awareness related activities such as donating hair, or delivering speeches. Its just a topic that means a lot to me! Also, this is as an off topic discussion (not related to chess at all) :)

thanks a lot for taking ur time to answer! yeah you're right on most of the stuff
for the symptoms there cud be a few more: Pain in any area of the breast, scaling, peeling, or flaking skin over the breast, change is the shape, size, or appearance of the breast, difficulty in breathing

5) well yeah actually...most countries recommend people to take a screening every 2 years. but honestly, it just depends on the person and how vulnerable they are to the disease. Many women are advised to check once every year
