Hi guys,
we have sometimes the case, that in a swiss tournament some players can't see their board.
This happens especially at the beginning of the tournament. After 1 or 2 rounds they can see it again.
Can anybody help?

Use a modern browser, change the board theme?
Try refreshing the page, or go to your profile and click on games.. and select the game playing right now.. Then u will be able to play
I couldn't see the board 5 minutes ago . Pieces were there but no board. I logged out and logged back in and the board is there now and it's fine.
The thing is, these players play a lot on lichess. Usually they don't have this issue. It's only in Swiss Tournaments.
I play a lot of swiss... but i haven't had this issue before
another prob in swiss in the first move you hv a few secs to move but even after that if the player does not move then they do not lose why?
I haven't had this issue neither. But it's annoying when you organize a swiss tournament and some lose their first games because of this issue.
I've had this problem on mobile. Switching board themes works for me, or clearing cache and logging back in.
The first couple of seconds given for the first move to get the player ready... But in swiss we can wait till the opponent comes back online... only then the next round would begin.. but that's not the case for arena tournaments, we have to complete as many games as possible in the given time...
